When being assigned to groups or choice is given, working collaboratively with others presents various challenges, both positive and negative. Groups members need to be able to move forward as a team focussing on agreed upon goals.
Co-creating what this might look like, sound like and feel like anchor chart allows for groups to review strategies for success. More importantly, students need opportunities throughout the school year to work in group to develop conflict resolution skills needed when disagreements arise.
