I obtained a PhD in Economics from Penn State University and a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. 


Before joining the University of Buenos Aires, I was Under-secretary of Productive Development and Planning and National Director of Productive Development Strategies at the Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina (2016 - 2019), and Economist at the World Bank (2015). I have taught at Penn State University, the University of San Andrés and the University of Nottingham. I have collaborated with several international organizations in consultancy projects, including the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations, as well as with government and private sector organizations, including in Latin America and the Caribbean and the Middle-East.
