The features of disasters in Turkey
Turkey is a country which has a high average elevation (1132 m) compared to Europe, with three sides surrounded by the sea (Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea,and Aegean Sea). Mediterranean, Continental and Black Sea climate types (simi-lar to Oceanic climate type) are experienced on the country soil. Also important air masses of the world (Siberia HP, Asor HP, Island LP and Basra LP) confront on Turkey. It is possible to observe 4 different seasons in Turkey within a year.
Turkey is constantly facing the danger of natural disasters because of its geographical features. Disasters such as earthquake, landslides,floods, avalanche,drought, wildres, extreme winter conditions and storms are seen in our country. / Amine Gökcen Erişen,TURKEY
Some regions of Turkey are susceptible to avalanches.
Avalanche disasters are snow fallen from the mountains even in the slightest vibration.

If an earthquake caused by an unexpected energy in the earths crust is not taken many causes loss of life. My country which also ocurred many earthquakes in Turkey and many of our citizens died in earthquake but some were unharmed. Here are some experienced in Turkey and dates;

Floods can occur anywhere in Turkey. However, there is a lot of precipitation in the Black Sea that causes flood disaster, which causes flood disaster.
Jeans houses are most damaged due to the flood water entering the house.
