I am an Associate Professor of Marketing at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where I also serve as the Deputy Director of the International Office (INTO).
My path into academia began later in life. Before taking a PhD, I worked in industry as the Planning Director at Publicis Hong Kong—a journey that started from an internship during my MBA.
Born in China and having lived in Hong Kong, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and now Singapore, I’ve grown personally and professionally across different cultures. For nearly two decades, Singapore is where my family and I have truly built our home.
My research interests are broad, shaped by a first degree in biology, subsequently in business and a career that spans both practice and academia. As a practitioner-turned-academic, I am drawn to applied, impactful projects that create meaningful real-world value.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, art, travelling, writing, and staying active—especially on the tennis court.
