1. OVERVIEW

Diamond Tracker is a habit-building and stats tracking app for teen and young adult baseball players aged 13 and older. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is used.

2. WHO CAN USE THIS APP

Diamond Tracker is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using this app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete their data immediately.

3. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

We collect the following information that you provide directly:

- Name, team name, jersey number, position, and graduation year

- Baseball stats you log (batting average, ERA, home runs, etc.)

- Habit check-ins and streaks

- Goals you set and your progress toward them

- Journal entries you write

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not currently transmit your personal data to external servers.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Your data is used solely to:

- Display your stats, habits, and goals within the app

- Calculate your batting average, ERA, and other metrics

- Track your habit streak and daily progress

- Generate your shareable stats card

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Ever.

5. MENTAL HEALTH & JOURNAL ENTRIES

Journal entries are stored only on your device and are never transmitted or read by us.

The app includes crisis detection that may display mental health resources (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) if certain keywords are detected. This detection happens entirely on your device.

Diamond Tracker is NOT a mental health service. It is a performance and habit tracking tool. If you are in crisis, please contact a trusted adult or call/text 988 immediately.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Diamond Tracker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must confirm they are 13 or older to use the app.

7. PARENTS & GUARDIANS

If your child is between 13 and 17 years old, we encourage parents and guardians to review this policy.

You may request deletion of your child's data at any time by:

- Going to Profile → Legal & Account → Delete Account & Data

- Or simply deleting the app from the device

8. DELETING YOUR DATA

You can delete all your data at any time by going to:

Profile → Legal & Account → Delete Account & Data

This permanently removes all data stored on your device and cannot be undone.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app is built using Expo and React Native. In future versions, we may integrate cloud storage to back up your data. If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated and you will be notified before any changes take effect.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app grows. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.

11. TERMS OF SERVICE

By using Diamond Tracker you agree to:

1. Be 13 years of age or older

2. Use the app for personal baseball tracking only

3. Not use the app as a substitute for professional coaching, medical, or mental health advice

4. Take responsibility for the accuracy of stats and information you enter

5. Understand that habit streaks and motivational features are tools only, not guarantees of performance

Diamond Tracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

12. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Diamond Tracker uses RevenueCat to manage 

in-app subscriptions and purchases. When you 

make a purchase, RevenueCat receives transaction 

information to validate and manage your 

subscription status. RevenueCat does not sell 

your personal information. For more information 

about how RevenueCat handles data, please visit 

their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

All other app data including habits, goals, 

stats, and journal entries remains stored 

locally on your device and is never transmitted 

to any server.
