Getting started
Step 1: Try the Dial On Phone Tester
This program allows you to test the TEL (PSTN) & SIP protocols transfers to your deskphone without any server-side installation.
Pre-requisites:
.NET Framework 2.0 or later
PBX reachable through SIP (either natively or through a gateway)
Step 2: Roll out the full Dial On Phone solution
You get 3 server ports to test the solution (in TWIN configuration) for as long as you need and make sure the solution complies with your needs & environment.
Pre-requisites:
.NET Framework 2.0 or later
IIS 5.1 or later with ASP.NET 2.0 or later
PBX reachable through SIP (either natively or through a gateway)
By default and for demonstration purposes only, the Dial On Phone solution translates msn & gtalk addresses to the GTalk2Voip format.
Skype addresses are translated into the Gizmo5 Opensky format -but the service seems unfortunately disrupted since Google acquired the company to integrate it into its Google Voice division.
Step 3: Work out the number of ports required
See the Sizing & Licensing section.
