Rachel Musson is a musician drawing her work from field recordings that explore relationships to place, utilising instruments and electronics to weave a live soundscape. Recently adopting Stroud as her home, she can see her Welsh homeland from the escarpment where she walks most days; her performance explores this ever-shifting relationship with the River and land.
Jacqui Stearn is a published poet and has been walking alongside the River Frome and her tributaries from their sources to the River Severn for many months as she explores walking as a poetic practice for her MA Creative and Critical Writing (University of Gloucestershire) dissertation. She lives in Stroud.
Alexander Caminada is a sound artist and photographer. Improvised sound responses are inspired by walks along the River; he mixes field recordings, synthesised sounds and textures.
Maria Stadnicka is a poet, sociologist and environmentalist living in Gloucestershire. She investigates the concepts of habitation and interconnectivity between the social world and the environment, and is particularly interested in the impact of human activity on wildlife around the River Severn.
