Amman Madan teaches at the Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. He has worked on how education transforms societies and how it mediates social inequality. He is particularly interested in the educational challenges posed by the interaction between different cultures and political philosophies.
Anuja has done her M. A. In Education from Azim Premji University, and has worked as a facilitator in a couple of alternative schools in Bangalore for several years. Presently she is working as a Research Associate in Azim Premji University, and is fascinated by dialogue, empowerment and justice in a school environment.
Dhruva has been teaching in schools of different kinds in different parts of the country for a few years now. He’s interested in pictures books and sports and games, as well as working with students using the same.
Naveen Kumar Paswan is working as Research associate with Azim Premji university, Bengaluru. Previously he has worked with PRADAN as Development practitioner for five years. He likes to work with community in the rural spaces.
Nupur has done MA Education from Azim Premji University. Her research interests lies at the intersection of Conflict, Justice and Power. She likes to read, write and listen to people.
Ragini is exploring what it means to create critical and relevant learning spaces for children from marginalized communities. She is particularly interested in the use of children’s literature and performing arts in education.
Ridhima is currently a PhD scholar at Ambedkar University, Delhi. She is fascinated by how children make sense of the world around them and loves to hear all kinds of stories they have to tell. Her interest lies in studying the processes of individual and group identity construction, the dynamics of belonging and philosophy of education.
Riya is a student of education, whose interests lie in the area of gender, dialogue, and compassionate education. She is currently exploring how safe spaces for dialogue can be created in classrooms and schools to discuss issues of contention, particularly gender.
Sana teaches at the School of Education, Azim Premji University. She completed her Ph.D. in Sociology from JNU. She is currently working on the use of applied theatre in social science education. Her areas of interest include social movements, cultural resistance, nonviolence and sociology of art and literature.
Tarannum is a Research Associate at Azim Premji University, driven by a genuine interest in exploring the development of morality in young children. She enjoys creating curriculum materials and designing engaging activities to enrich their learning journey.
