The Medical Adapter Diagnostic Tool is a HUNCH Health & Biomedical Science project executed by DHSF seniors Meha Shivakumar and Viktor Pangburn during the 2024-2025 year. Their team was mentored by Lisa S. Tsay and Margaret E. Hitt and received 3D-printing assistance from Michigan State University - St. Andrews.
The pivotal accomplishments of the project led the team to achieve multiple milestones, including an invitation to present at the 2025 Human Research Program Investigators’ Workshop (IWS) in Galveston, TX, becoming a finalist invited to the 2025 NASA HUNCH Health & Biomedical Sciences Final Design Review in Houston, TX, and more.
