Education of under-privileged children

We often come across talented children who are not so privileged even to complete basic school education. At heart they also dream of going to school and study like other privileged children. Some of them manage to cross the barrier of school education while many of them drop out at various stages. The drop out is even more at places where the schools lack basic infrastructure required to provide a good learning environment. The talented ones out of them get opportunities to continue further their passion while a few others try to continue further thinking that all their woes would end when they complete a degree and go for a job. But when the problem of affordability hits them, all their dreams get shattered. These are great inequalities when compared with what the privileged children enjoy today and these have been the motivation behind the following two activities:

• Identifying deserving children and help them continue their school or higher education where affordability is the main factor causing them to quit.

• Identifying deserving schools in rural areas that lack even the basic infrastructure and help improve them. We consider classrooms, toilets, drinking water facility, library and technology as part of basic infrastructure for schools.
