Head Coach: Eric Rutledge
Coach Rutledge brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the 2028 DHawk National Team. He believes that basketball is not only a game, but also a way to teach life lessons to kids. Eric takes great pride in molding the character of the young men he coaches. Coach Rutledge believes in being aggressive on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor. He instills confidence in his players and pushes them to be the best they can be. Coach Rutledge is confident that he has assembled a team that can be very competitive on the national level and can't wait to get started this spring. Here are some highlights of his coaching career:
Founder of the Georgetown Basketball Club (2015)
Four age groups: 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030
Teams included the Georgetown Rebels, GBC Elite, and Scott Co. Cards
Nine Years of Travel Ball and AAU Experience
Multiple tournament championships each year.
Fifteen Years of Youth Coaching
Eleven former players are now playing up (above their grade level) on high school teams.
Assistant Coach: Keith Griesser
Coach Griesser joins the DHawk staff with a wide variety of coaching experience including college, high school, middle school, and youth leagues. He was blessed to learn the game under legendary coaches Jim Reid, Happy Osborne, and Billy Hicks. Keith is an X and O guy who takes pride in teaching the fundamentals of the game, creating mismatches on the floor, and making in-game adjustments. Here are some highlights of his coaching career:
