Curiosity and a passion for learning are at the heart of my interests. I am deeply drawn to business, economics, sustainability, and environmental topics, and I find great satisfaction in reading books that broaden my understanding of these fields. Whether it’s delving into the strategies of global companies, exploring the principles of sustainable development, or immersing myself in the life stories of visionary leaders and entrepreneurs, I am always eager to expand my knowledge. I also enjoy spiritual literature and regularly listen to podcasts, which inspire me to think critically and stay informed about contemporary issues. These intellectual pursuits not only keep me motivated in my academic and professional life but also help me connect ideas across disciplines and apply them creatively in real-world contexts.
Beyond reading and research, I thrive on social interaction and the exchange of ideas. Spending time with friends, engaging in thoughtful discussions, and celebrating achievements together are important sources of energy and inspiration for me. I believe that learning is amplified when shared, and I value the opportunity to gain new perspectives through conversation and collaboration. To unwind and maintain balance, I enjoy traveling and taking trips with friends, which allows me to recharge and return to my work with renewed enthusiasm. Playing badminton, as well as gaming on my phone or computer, provides a fun and active outlet for relaxation and stress relief.
Spirituality and mindfulness are also central to my sense of well-being. I often seek out quiet moments in nature, whether it’s meditating, observing the sky, or simply appreciating the presence of animals and birds around me. These practices give me a sense of inner peace and clarity, helping me to manage stress and approach new challenges with courage and optimism. Occasionally, I visit the gym to maintain my physical health, recognizing the importance of a holistic approach to personal growth. Altogether, these interests and routines enable me to stay motivated, balanced, and ready to pursue my ambitions with creativity and resilience.
Volunteering at the digital skills workshop for the Oxford older people community was an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience. My role involved guiding elderly participants through the practical use of their phones and digital gadgets, helping them overcome everyday technological challenges. What made this experience truly special was the genuine connection I built with the participants; their eagerness to learn and their gratitude for even the simplest shortcuts or solutions was heartwarming. I found myself not just teaching, but also listening and adapting to each individual’s pace and needs. This opportunity allowed me to witness firsthand how digital inclusion can empower people and bridge generational gaps. It was a reminder that patience, empathy, and clear communication are essential when supporting others, and it reinforced my belief in the positive social impact of sharing knowledge.
Standing as a candidate for the Union President election at Oxford Brookes University was a defining chapter in my personal and leadership development. Motivated by a desire to enhance the student experience, I campaigned on initiatives such as promoting a healthier campus environment, advocating for affordable food and tiffin services, and increasing support for the disabled student community. The campaign brought together friends and students from diverse backgrounds, and I had the privilege of leading and collaborating with a passionate team. Interacting with hundreds of students, listening to their concerns, and articulating a vision for positive change gave me invaluable insight into the power of collective action. While the campaign was challenging, it was also a profound learning experience in resilience, teamwork, and the importance of inclusive leadership. It taught me how to inspire, coordinate, and motivate others toward a shared goal, and deepened my appreciation for the diversity and vibrancy of the university community.
As a volunteer for Project Neer, I was part of an initiative aimed at providing affordable and sustainable clean water solutions to underserved communities in Delhi, particularly in slum areas where access to safe drinking water is limited. Our mission was to distribute Matka (clay pot) water filters, focusing on the health and well-being of children and women. Collaborating with local NGOs, we designed a framework that balanced cost-effectiveness with impact, ensuring that our solutions remained accessible to those most in need. This experience was both humbling and inspiring; it challenged me to think creatively about resource management and sustainable development, and to work collaboratively with stakeholders from various backgrounds. Witnessing the tangible difference we made in people’s lives reinforced my commitment to social responsibility and the belief that meaningful change often starts with small, community-driven actions.
