Girls will be given many options for free time. They can do homework, read, play games, practice gymnastics, go outside and more.
If needed, teachers may request to speak with a student during free time. Students may not turn this down. Teachers will do their best to speak to students during different times, but sometimes there will be serious issues that must be addressed immediately.

Every three months, a general test is given to all students in all levels. The test is different based on level, but it aims to determine which students are ready to move up from each level. This test is called the "3 Month Test" among students, and it is the only way to move up from a level. There is no way in which students move as a group, so there is often not a fixed group of students who travel together. However, most students will move up after 4-5 testing periods (12-15 months in a level). Following that guide is one way to stay with friends as you move up.
If you do not move up after 3 years, you may be asked to complete extra practice. If you exceed the age for your level, you may to asked to leave the school. Some levels have a "maximum exception" age, so that if a student struggles to move up they can spend those extra 2 or 3 years in a level. Often there are higher "maximum exception" ages for levels with younger children.

The activities during this time are announced ahead of time in the mornings and students will now what to expect (hopefully).
