The Dragonfly-e Initiative

Mission

Taking a holistic approach to waste management, The Dragonfly-e Initiative in a partnership with the University of Minnesota, City of Wadena, City of Verndale, and private stakeholders, are looking into an opportunity to manage waste more efficiently and effectively at the community level and with direct participation of community members.

We see a wasted opportunity to collect and reuse all sorts of refuse including organic and inorganic. Through the implementation of volume analysis methods, education, and a network of third-party haulers, the Dragonfly-e Initiative aims to cut your waste bill through improved recycling, while also minimizing, if not, eliminating, landfill-driven fees.

Gathering Organic Material

Small and mid-sized, mixed fed organic material processing plants through Community Placed Anaerobic Digestors can offer untapped potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and landfill environmental impact.

Justifying Investment
