Costumes, Hair, and Make Up
Costumes
Be sure to bring all costumes, costume accessories (hair bows, wristlets, etc.), proper shoes and tights. Make sure you have new, clean tights with a spare pair
in case of unexpected holes/runs. You can pick up tights at the studio store. Costumes/tights/shoes should all be labeled with the dancer’s name or initials and brought in a garment bag, duffel bag, or suitcase-type bag. It gets pretty busy backstage and this will make the room helpers’ job much easier when having to help your child with their costume changes.

Hair & Make Up
Hair requirements should be the same as you had for pictures and dress rehearsal. Make sure hair is out of the dancer’s eyes and little to no wispies. Use plenty of hairspray. We encourage a little bit of light make-up so the students don’t look washed out under the bright stage lights. Choose a neutral shade of eye shadow, light pink blush, mascara (for grades 2 and up), and a pink shade of lipstick.
