Scouts BSA invites you to join in the fun and adventure!  We are an active troop for girls meeting in Dexter, Michigan troop, and would love for you to be a part of this adventure.  

The Details!

All students ages 10-17 years are welcome

Regular meetings- Tuesdays 6:30-8pm- American Legion in Dexter

Scouting focuses on practical life skills 

Low-cost camping trips & high adventure trips are scheduled throughout the year. All trips are optional. Parents are welcome to attend trips, but parent attendance is not required.

Costs: $10/month for troop dues. Scouts are welcome to purchase a uniform and a scouting book after they are certain they want to join.

November 15-16- Pinckney Lakes State Rec Campout

January 17-18- Muskegon Winter Sports & Luge Cabin Camping Weekend

February 20-22- Ski Trip

March 13-14- Pinewood Derby & Lock-In

July 5-11, 2026 Scout Camp

Late July (likely July 30-Aug 2, but TBD)-- High Adventure White Water Rafting Trip in Pennsylvania

Thriftiness is one of the twelve values upheld in scouting. Recent local campouts were $10-$50 for the weekend, including meals and transit. Multi-day or weeklong high adventure or camps are in the $200-$500.
