Devices4U is certainly not the first attempt by the founders to ensure quality education. They partnered as middle school students to support at-risk youth in Kibera, the largest slum in Kenya, through an organization called ROCK Kenya (Reaching Out with Compassion in Kibera). ROCK provides scholarships to secondary school students in Kibera based on their family history, academic performance, and financial need.
