What is DevFest?
DevFests are tech conferences organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) globally. Each DevFest event is tailored by local organizers to meet the specific needs and interests of their respective developer communities. Attendees of DevFest have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, attend technical talks delivered by experts in local languages, and connect with fellow developers in their local area. Through these experiences, DevFest participants gain insights on collaborative development and innovative use of Google's developer tools.
What is GDG Singapore?
GDG Singapore is the local Singapore chapter of the Google Developer Groups (GDG) program. It is a community-led initiative aimed at helping developers in Singapore connect with one another and learn about building products on all Google platforms.
GDG Singapore organizes various community activities such as meetups, workshops, and conferences centred around helping developers learn, connect, and grow while building a strong sense of belonging to the local and global GDG community.
What is DevFest Singapore 2023?
DevFest Singapore is a community-run, one-day conference aimed at bringing together technologists, developers, students, tech companies, and speakers in one location to learn, discuss, and experiment with technology.
DevFest Singapore 2022 was a huge success, with over 814 attendees, 38 speakers, and 38 sessions across 5 tracks. It was the biggest DevFest in Singapore to date!
This year, we are excited to announce that DevFest Singapore 2023 will be even bigger and better. We are expecting over 1,000 attendees, 40 speakers, and 40 sessions across 8 tracks.
When will DevFest Singapore 2023 happen?
The DevFest Singapore 2023 will take place on November 18, 2023, at the Google Asia Pacific, Singapore.
What is unique about DevFest Singapore 2023?
DevFest serves as the annual worldwide conference for the GDG program. Distinguishing itself from regular meetups or speaker sessions, DevFest events encompass a wide range of topics and provide a comprehensive set of activities designed to foster collaboration among local developers.
