Mr Devendra Maurya is a senior deep-tech R&D leader and Principal Research Establishment Officer at IIT Kanpur, where he leads sensor and printed electronics research at the National Centre for Flexible Electronics.
He has over 25 years of experience across academia and industry, including 11 years of international experience in Australia and Singapore, with a strong focus on translating laboratory research into high-TRL, field-deployable technologies.
His work spans smart sensors, printed electronics, MEMS, and lab-on-chip systems, with applications in healthcare, food safety, and strategic sectors. He holds 13 patents, has published 40 research papers, and has collaborated with Nobel Laureate Professor Barry Marshall.
