I specialize in transforming financial clutter into clarity — fast. With over a decade of public company audit experience and a passion for personal finance, I’ve built a process that’s precise, visual, and empowering. No jargon. No judgment. Just answers.
I’m a licensed CPA (Maryland Board of Public Accountancy, License #41405) with over a decade of experience in public company audit services, specializing in financial reporting, technical accounting, and SEC compliance. After 10 years at a Big 4 firm — where I led audits across the technology, healthcare and asset wealth management industries — I recently transitioned to an in-house role as a subject matter expert, directing technical accounting policy for my company. While technical accounting is my day job, helping individuals with their personal finances is my passion project — the work I dive into at night because I genuinely love it.
I help both individuals and businesses make sense of their financial data, uncover patterns in spending, and build personalized plans that align with their values. Whether it’s organizing a year’s worth of credit card transactions or forecasting future budgets, I bring structure to complexity.
On the personal side: I attended Penn State University, I have lived in six states (most recently settling in New Jersey), and I have experienced both renting and homeownership. I’m now raising two kids under two — alongside two golden retrievers — with my amazing wife. I’m also a huge Survivor fan, so yes, I appreciate strategy, resilience, and the occasional blindside.
I genuinely love digging into the details — especially in Excel. What feels tedious, time-consuming or overwhelming to many people (like reviewing bank statements or categorizing transactions), this is exactly where I thrive. I’ve built a process that’s fast, precise, and visually clear, so you don’t have to spend hours sorting through financial clutter.
I believe everyone deserves a clear picture of their financial life without needing to hire a big firm, paying a monthly subscription or paying for an expensive introduction call. My philosophy is simple: you give me the details upfront, and I’ll give you answers quickly — for a fraction of the cost.
I’m also deeply aware of the pressures that consumers face today. Prices keep rising. Ads push us to spend more on things we don’t need. Discretionary spending creeps in quietly, and suddenly the budget feels out of control. I help clients spot those patterns, cut back where it makes sense, and feel empowered — not restricted.
Helping you understand your finances isn’t just about saving money. It’s about giving you clarity, confidence, and control. And if I can make that process feel efficient, insightful, and even a little enjoyable? That’s exactly why I do this.
