1.  “The Origins of Institutional Resilience to Climate Change: Evidence from the Bronze Age Mesopotamia,” funded by the ERC & MIUR (approx. 2.3 million euros), collaborating with Carmine Guerriero (UniBO), Alberto Bisin (NYU), David Stasavage (NYU),  Francesco Parisi (UMN), and Giacomo Benati (UB). 

2. “The Socio-Economic Implications of Geopolitical Crises on European Union Cohesion - Acronym: EU_Cohesion”, funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (approx. 77,022 euros), collaborating with Klaus Desmet (SMU).  

3. “Ageing and its Cultural Implications - Acronym: Culturaging”, funded by the Fondation Nationale de Recherché-Luxembourg (approx. 600,000 euros), collaborating with Andreas Irmen (UniLu), David Bloom (Harvard University), and Anastasia Litina (UOM). 

4. “The Cultural Determinants of the Spread of COVID-19 - Acronym: COVID_Cult", funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (approx. 67,000 euros), collaborating with Anastasia Litina (UOM), Skerdilajda Zanaj (UniLu), and Konstantinos Papastathis (AUTH).

Wiley 2025 Top-Cited Article Award for the paper “Split Personalities? Behavioral Effects of Temperature on Financial Decision-Making," which is among the top 10 most-cited papers published by the Kyklos journal in 2024, highlighting the visibility and impact of our research.
