Transfer Students

We are thrilled that you're considering joining the De Soto Band program.  No matter your interest or ability in music, there's a place for you here!  Students are able to take part in our Dragon Pride Marching Band, DHS Concert Bands, and Jazz program during the day and we even offer an afterschool Rock Band once a week.  If you will be taking part in the De Soto Bands, please take a moment to register for CutTime via the link below, so we can get you in our music management system.

We still have a few openings in the Dragon Pride Marching Band if you are interested, please let us know by June 27th.  If you are not interested in marching band, all are welcome to join our DHS Concert Band.   Before making any decisions, I would recommend that you take time to look at the De Soto Bands Facebook page and www.desotobands.org.

Transferring to another school can be intimidating.  The De Soto Bands provide an incredible opportunity for building friendships, fostering creativity, and growing together as musicians and individuals.   We have multiple Sunrise graduates currently in our program and would love to have you join them.  If you have any questions please reach out to Director of Bands, Darrell Boyer, via email: boyer.darrell@desoto.k12.mo.us.
