April 4, 2025
Dear Directors,
We are thrilled to invite bands from across the region to join us for the inaugural Fountain City Classic Marching Invitational, taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at De Soto High School in De Soto, Missouri.
This exciting new event will provide bands of all sizes and experience levels an opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent in a welcoming, student-focused environment. Our newly renovated stadium features a brand-new turf marching surface, a video board for live close-ups, and excellent views from every level of the bleachers—making this an experience both your students and spectators will enjoy.
Our goal is to create a high-quality marching festival that celebrates musical excellence and provides valuable, growth-centered feedback to support your band’s development throughout the season. Bands will be classed according to MSHSAA Football Classifications. Should any class be too small to stand alone, two or more classes may be combined to ensure a fair and competitive experience for all participants.
Ensembles will be adjudicated in the following captions:

Our experienced adjudication panel is committed to providing constructive, meaningful commentary to help students and staff continue developing their show and performance quality. We are also proud to offer excellent facilities, a supportive atmosphere, and a well-organized schedule that respects your time and effort.
Whether your group is just beginning the season or already in full stride, the Dragon Pride Marching Invitational promises to be a memorable and rewarding experience for students, staff, and spectators alike.
