I am a Geologist working for the Kentucky Geological Survey where I am integrating LiDAR, Python, and field methods to build a database of Kentucky's sinkholes and natural ponds while monitoring and measuring their occurrences and geomorphological changes through time. However, beyond my interest in mapping and monitoring Kentucky's landforms, my other passions in geology revolve around structural geology, volcanology, igneous petrology, and geochemistry.
I received my B.S. in Geology alongside a minor in Mathematics from Mississippi State University in May of 2022 where I completed an undergraduate thesis focused on techniques in structural geology. If you would like to know more about my undergraduate research, then please visit the "Structural Geology Research" tab under "Research".
Most recently, I have obtained my M.S. in Geological Sciences from Central Washington University where I completed a thesis focused on techniques in experimental volcanology that is currently being refined for publication. If you would like to know more about my graduate research, then please visit the "Volcanology Research" tab under "Research".
Outside of geology, I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, dancing, and walking with my dog, O'Connell. On a rainy day, you will find me inside with a good book in my hand.
