Q: How do I secure my date?
A: We require a non refundable retainer to secure your spot that will go towards your final payment. We will send you all of the payment information once an invoice is sent out after you fill out our inquiry form.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Our cancellation policy is 50% of the final total due if you cancel within 3 days of your event. If you cancel before the 3 days, you will not be charged however, you will not receive the non refundable retainer.
Q: What balloons do you use?
A: We use high quality biodegradable latex balloons that are safe for the environment. Our balloons will last days and even weeks to ensure that your balloons will stay inflated for your event!
Q: What if a balloon pops after Designs By Vicki team leaves?
A: After our team has left, we are not responsible for coming back to recover the popped balloon(s).
Q: Why does my balloons change color?
A: Your balloons may change tones or look more matte because all balloons will oxidize if it is exposed to sunlight or if it is outdoors. We recommend that you have your balloons indoors to ensure that your balloons will remain the same color tone. Please note that some inspiration photos that you may see online may be altered, however we will try to match the colors as best as possible.
Q: Do you have a travel fee?
A: Our travel fee is estimated by how many miles away your event is from our location (to & from) multiplied by the current gas prices. If you rent out our equipment, we will need to come back for it which will result in a higher travel charge.
Q: How long does it take for you to set up?
A: We like to come at least 3 hours before your event starts to ensure we have enough time to focus on all the designing details. If you are having your event at a venue please let us know how early we can arrive to set up.
Q: Can I provide my own backdrop frame/backdrop?
A: Yes! You can provide your own frame/backdrop, however we ask if you can have it up and ready for us to set up the balloons prior to our arrival. We will not set up your equipment and we highly recommend for you to have weights for the frame.
Q: Do you provide helium balloons?
A: Unfortunately we do not. However, we hope to be able to provide that service for you in the near future!
