Pillowcase

This pillowcase was the very first project I completed in my FCS 207 class, making it the foundation of my journey in my garment construction. While it may seem like a simple project, it introduced me to the basics of sewing, including measuring and cutting fabric, sewing straight seams, pressing as I worked, and creating clean, finished edges. 

As my first project, it taught me how to become comfortable using a sewing machine and helped me understand the importance of accuracy and patience throughout the construction process. Every step built my confidence and prepared me for more advanced projects later in the semester.
