What a brilliant day our young girls had at Croke Park on Sunday. As one of two Fermanagh clubs invited to the LGFA Go Games Day, they enjoyed matches on the pitch and a memorable stadium experience—moments to treasure. Thanks to everyone who supported the trip, especially Emma Cassidy for organising, along with Emlyn Burns, Garvan McGinley, John McGurn and Sabrina McConnell. We also appreciate the parents who travelled and Jackie Doogan, whose work with Energia provided hoodies for the girls.
Back at Canon Maguire Park, activity was high. On Saturday, we hosted an Under 10 boys’ Go Games blitz with Belcoo, Kinawley, Derrylin and Devenish attending—thanks to all involved, especially Deccy Cassidy for coordinating. Sunday saw the return of Sunday Morning Footy, with great conditions and enthusiasm from our P1–P4 boys and girls as the new season began.
A reminder that registration for Sunday Footy should be completed on Foireann. Some underage memberships are still outstanding, and we encourage completion online. Final in-person registration sessions will take place in the weeks beginning April 27 and May 4. For those unable to register online, membership can be paid to Sean McLoughlin in Fairview Meats—many thanks to Sean for facilitating this.
On the field, our Under 14 boys improved after a slow start against Irvinestown and host Enniskillen Gaels on Wednesday. Our Minor Ladies travel to Brookeborough on Thursday - best of luck. The Reserve A team secured a strong win over Devenish, while Junior B were defeated by Derrylin. Both teams are scheduled to host matches this Sunday.
