In accordance with Department Order (DO) no. 47 s, 2014 titled "Constitution and By-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme Student Government in Elementary and Secondary Schools," the Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes that the Student Government Program (SCP), through the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Government (SSG), is the foremost cocurricular learner-led organization authorized to operate and implement pertinent programs, projects, and activities in all schools nationwide.
To ensure consistency pursuant to DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2019, the SGP shall be named as Learner Government Program (LGP), while SPG and SSG will be known as the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), respectively.
The YES-O was established through the Department Order No. 72, s. 2003 signed by DepEd Secretary Edilberto C. De Jesus.
The YES-O is a school-based co-curricular organization which served as a significant venue for students’ actions and movements toward safeguarding, promoting, and conserving the environment for future generations.
The YES-O is the only recognized co-curricular environment club or organization in the school and consolidates all other environmental and/or ecology clubs or organizations in school with main and primary programs or projects for the environment or ecology in the said organization.
Several years after Commonwealth Act. No. 111, with its subsequent amendments under Presidential Decree No. 460 and Republic Act No. 7278, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines continues to strive in pursuing its mission – to inculcate in our Scouts love of God, country and fellowmen; to prepare the youth for responsible leadership; and to contribute to nation-building according to the ideals, principles and programs of Scouting.
Through the years, the GSP continues to pursue vigorously its character building and youth development programs and is actively contributing to the economic thrust of the country as part of the Movement’s commitment to nation-building

The Red Cross Youth is one of the six major services of the Philippine Red Cross. Its mission is to educate and empower the children and youth in the spirit of Red Cross through constructive training and effective leadership, and provide opportunities for directing and harnessing their energy and idealism into worthwhile humanitarian activities.
