Objective of the Department of Hindi

The objective of the Department of Hindi is to promote and propagate the Hindi language, literature, and culture.

The department aims to

Foster a solid foundation in the Hindi language:

The department strives to impart comprehensive language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension, to students, enabling them to communicate effectively in Hindi.

Encourage appreciation of Hindi literature

 By introducing students to a wide range of literary works, both classic and contemporary, the department seeks to instill an appreciation for the rich literary heritage of Hindi.

Develop critical thinking and analytical skills.

Through the study of Hindi literature and language, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking abilities and analytical skills, enabling them to engage deeply with the texts and ideas.

Promote cultural awareness:

The Department of Hindi aims to raise cultural awareness among students by fostering an understanding and respect for the diverse traditions, values, and customs associated with the Hindi-speaking regions.

Enhance proficiency in translation:

The department endeavor's to enhance students' translation skills, enabling them to bridge the gap between Hindi and other languages, facilitating cross-cultural communication.

Encourage research and academic excellence.
