Departmental Resources

• In addition to college's central library a well-equipped departmental Library with books for all the three years is present. Students can borrow books as and when required.
• There are two laboratories with all the necessary facilities.
• Other than compound and simple light microscopes, binocular microscopes with LED illumination and wide Field are also available.
• Well preserved plant specimens as per the requirement of syllabus are also available.

Educational Programs

• Every year local excursions (at least two including one to Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden, Shibpur, Howrah) are organized.
• Botanical quiz at departmental level is conducted at regular intervals.
• Students' presentations from topics related to syllabus are conducted.
