Our Village Hall opened in December 1962 and is situated in the centre of the village and is at the heart of our community’s social activity. The hall is used by many organisations and local clubs and societies use its facilities regularly in addition to individuals hiring it for private parties etc. The hall is also the venue of productions by Denstone Players and has become well known locally for its spectacular Christmas lights. An event started for the millennium celebrations by Peter Smith, the grandson of one of the founder members.
It's a registered charity run by a Management Committee whose members are composed of representatives nominated by village organisations. The group is committed to ensure the hall is cared for, maintained, improved and kept as up to date as funds allow. We hope that users will care for it too.
To help with raising funds for this why not join the 49 Club Lottery? This is based on the National Lottery bonus ball - help yourself while helping the hall!
