About Scotland's Your Priorities platform
Scotland's 'Your Priorities' platform is an online platform and it serves as a tool of asynchronous ideas exchange, complimentary to live session.
Scotland's 'Your Priorities' platform is accessible to discuss and express your opinion about the topic of Local Democracy Lab.
Scotland's 'Your Priorities' platform has been created by one of the PaCE project´s partner, the Citizens Foundation from Iceland and is intended to foster idea generation, deliberation and decision-making, connecting governments and nonprofits with citizens.
How does it work?
Participants can add ideas, engage with the ideas posted by their peers, and partake in a constructive debate about each idea.
Participants can upvote each of the discussion points added by their peers.
Participants can write a standalone counterpoint, which is not directly connected to the original point – this is a mechanism intended to avoid trolling and other online feuds.
Participants can submit images, video and audio along with their comments.
Outcomes of the online deliberative platform
Summaries of discussions are presented at the end of the online event, identifying recommendations and views.
Participants are invited to add points of discussion if they think that something relevant is important missing.

This opportunity facilitates access of the participants in different countries to share their viewpoints and follow the citizens' opinions across Europe.
