This path was more than just physical training; it was a lifeline that helped him overcome bullying and build confidence. His sensei instilled in him the values of perseverance and humility—qualities that Kevin now passionately imparts to his students and clients. His expertise further expanded with 5 years of Muay Thai and 7 years of dedicated strength training, making him a well-rounded combat sports specialist.
Kevin holds an impressive array of certifications, including Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Exos Performance Specialist, and WAKO Canada Kickboxing Coach. His expertise is further enriched by his roles at Delta Kinetics Performance, Black Tiger Martial Arts, and various fitness clubs, where he has consistently led clients to achieve remarkable fitness goals.
Recognized for his potential and dedication, Kevin has earned scholarships to prestigious programs such as the New Zealand Study Abroad, Kin Can 2023 Conference, and Collision 2024 Conference. Also, in his short time at GoodLife Fitness, he was also nominated Top 2 Regional trainers - effectively making him in the top 10% in the country.
Kevin’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion from Humber Institute of Technology (Hons). He also serves as the president of the Kinesiology Society at his school, where he leads initiatives and fosters a community of aspiring fitness professionals.
