My research focuses on topics that are mainly situated within Social Psychology, Political Psychology, and Criminology, addressing i.a. the following questions:
How can political ideology be measured?
What role does context play in an individual's political orientation?
How does the Social Identity Approach relate to political attitudes?
Can counterfactual information (i.e. 'fake news') influence our political cognition?
What are the psychological mechanisms underlying attitudes towards criminals and perceptions of threat?
If you are interested in any of the topics, findings and/or collaboration, feel free to contact me!
