Guided Learning is a TP optional Fundamental subject students can choose to pick up. It is a free-rein subject that allows us to learn any chosen topic of interest we want using the process of self-directed learning.

Through self-directed learning, students get to learn how the four stages of self-directed learning: Plan, Perform, Monitor and Reflect, are used to navigate through our learning. This module helps us to nurture a love for learning and equips us with the skills for self-directed learning.

Before I picked up Guided Learning, I always wanted to start my very own engineering project to learn and build something to get more exposure in Engineering.

Being a person who loves challenges, I decided that Guided Learning will fill my deep desire for learning and push me beyond my comfort zone to do something I would not have the time to do otherwise if it was not for Guided Learning.

When I made the decision, I also wanted to build something that will help my parents' Food and Beverage (F&B) business because they were struggling with the overwhelming workload.

And I thought, what better way to utilize this opportunity to learn something new and help my parents in the process with my work. Hence, I made the decision to do Guided Learning.
