Chair 

The Chair provides leadership and ensures the success of the WG. The Chair is responsible for setting the strategic direction and priorities of the WG, overseeing the development of WG products, and ensuring that the WG's activities are aligned with INCOSE's mission and goals. 

In addition, the Chair maintains the technical direction and strategy of the working group, and approves product baselines from teams before release. They also report the status of the WG to the Assistant Director for Transformational Enablers and ensure that the WG is effectively communicating its work and progress to INCOSE leadership. 

The Chair is also the primary leader of the working group meetings at the International Workshop and International Symposium, helping to ensure that the WG's activities are effectively communicated to members and other stakeholders. They approve the Working Group travel budget that supports interaction with external organizations, ensuring that the WG is able to develop and maintain relationships with other organizations and entities in the field of systems engineering. 

The chair provides guidance and direction to ensure the success of the WG. They manage the overall operations of the WG, set its strategic direction, oversee the development of WG products, and ensure that the WG is effectively communicating its work and progress to INCOSE leadership and other stakeholders. 

Chair Deputy 

The role of the Deputy Chair in an INCOSE WG is to support the Chair in the management and operation of the WG, and to help ensure that the WG's activities are aligned with the needs of its stakeholders and the goals of INCOSE.   

The Deputy Chair works closely with the Chair to help develop the strategic direction of the WG, oversee the development of WG products, and coordinate with other INCOSE WGs and external organizations. They may also represent the WG in INCOSE meetings and events, and help manage the WG's finances. 

Technical Operations & IT Lead 

The Technical Operations & IT Lead provides technical guidance and support to the WG's members and ensures the security and reliability of the WG's IT systems. They coordinate with other working groups to align technical operations with INCOSE's goals and facilitate communication and collaboration to promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas related to digital engineering. 

Communication Lead 

The Communication Lead in an INCOSE Working Group (WG) manages and coordinates the WG's communication efforts both internally and externally. They ensure that the WG's messages are clear, consistent, and effective, and that they reach the appropriate audiences. They also serve as the point of contact for external entities for collaboration and coordinate with Tech Ops and other working groups. 

As the point of contact for external entities, the Communication Lead develops and maintains relationships with other organizations and identifies opportunities for joint activities or initiatives. They also ensure that the WG's communication efforts are aligned with the needs and goals of external entities, helping to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge and ideas. 

The Communication Lead coordinates with Tech Ops and other working groups to promote collaboration and communication between different groups within INCOSE. They help to ensure that the WG's communication efforts are coordinated with those of other groups, and that the WG is able to leverage the expertise and resources of other groups to achieve its goals. They may also identify areas of overlap or synergy between different groups, and help to develop joint initiatives or activities to further the goals of the WG and other groups. 

Treasurer 

The role of the Treasurer is to manage the financial affairs of the WG. The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of the WG's income and expenses, preparing financial reports for the WG leadership and members, and managing the budget of the WG. 

Technical Fellow 

a Technical Fellow is typically a senior member of the WG who has demonstrated expertise and leadership in a specific technical area. The Technical Fellow serves as a mentor, advisor, and subject matter expert to other members of the WG, providing guidance and support on technical issues and helping to ensure that the WG's work is technically sound and of high quality. 

The Technical Fellow plays a critical role in providing technical leadership and guidance to the WG's product teams. The Technical Fellow is responsible for reviewing the WG's products and providing technical feedback to help ensure that they are of high quality and meet the needs of the WG's stakeholders. They also work to ensure that the WG's product teams have the right technical expertise and that WG products are coordinated technically with each other. 

In addition, the Technical Fellow owns and manages the WG technical roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the WG's goals and objectives. They also understand the technical overlap between the WG and other working groups, and work to ensure that the WG's products are technically compatible with those of other groups. 

Finally, the Technical Fellow supports the Technical Product Liaison and the WG with technical communication and messaging, helping to ensure that the WG's technical work is effectively communicated to stakeholders and other interested parties.   

OUSD Advisor 

The OUSD Advisor provides expert guidance and advice on digital engineering and the DoD's acquisition process in the INCOSE DEIX Working Group. They ensure the WG's activities align with the DoD's goals and represent the DoD's interests in meetings with external organizations. The Advisor also coordinates with other DoD organizations to promote collaboration and exchange of knowledge and ideas related to digital engineering. 

NDIA Advisor 

The NDIA Advisor provides expert guidance and advice on digital engineering and the defense industry. They ensure that the WG's outputs align with the defense industry's needs and represent the industry's interests in meetings with external organizations. The Advisor also coordinates with other organizations to promote collaboration and exchange of knowledge related to digital engineering. 

Technical Product Liaison 

The Technical Product Liaison in serves as a point of contact between the product leads and external entities related to the WG's products. They ensure the products meet industry best practices and standards, and coordinate with other organizations in order to integrate products with other systems.  

The Technical Liaison provides technical feedback and guidance to the WG's product development teams to ensure high-quality products. They liaise with standard organizations, including ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 7 AHG 6, ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 7 WG 7, OMG, IEEE, INCOSE TIMLM, and NAFEMS, to align the products with industry standards and best practices. 

DE Taxonomy Lead 

The DE Taxonomy Product Lead in manages the development and delivery of this product. They are responsible for the product roadmap, managing the product team, and ensuring the product meets the needs of the WG's stakeholders. 

The Product Lead oversees the development, review, release, and maintenance of the product. They coordinate with other groups as needed to ensure the product is aligned with industry best practices and standards. The Product Lead works with other WG members to ensure the product is developed effectively and efficiently. 

Overall, the role of the Product Lead is critical to the success of the WG's activities. They provide leadership to ensure the product is aligned with stakeholder needs, is of high quality, and is delivered on time and within budget. The Product Lead manages the product team, ensuring that the product meets the specified requirements and is maintained and updated as needed. 

DE Guide Lead 

The DE Guide Product Lead manages the development and delivery of this product. They are responsible for the product roadmap, managing the product team, and ensuring the product meets the needs of the WG's stakeholders. 

The Product Lead oversees the development, review, release, and maintenance of the product. They coordinate with other groups as needed to ensure the product is aligned with industry best practices and standards. The Product Lead works with other WG members to ensure the product is developed effectively and efficiently.

DE Measures Liaison 

The DE Measures Liaison acts as a bridge between the DE WG and the DE Measures WG. The DE Measures WG independently  manages the development and delivery of their product.  

DVM Lead 

The DVM Product Lead in manages the development and delivery of this product. They are responsible for the product roadmap, managing the product team, and ensuring the product meets the needs of the WG's stakeholders. 

The Product Lead oversees the development, review, release, and maintenance of the product. They coordinate with other groups as needed to ensure the product is aligned with industry best practices and standards. The Product Lead works with other WG members to ensure the product is developed effectively and efficiently.
