For the safety of our students, Leander Independent School District (LISD) requires all potential volunteers who plan to work at any campus to receive a background check from the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
This check will be completed using the LISD Volunteer Registration System. Please allow 2-3 days for processing.

Will volunteers be required to print their own badges online?
No, a sticker will be printed when the volunteer checks in to the school and must be worn at all times while on campus.
Do current LISD employees need to complete a volunteer application?
No, all current LISD employees will automatically be uploaded into the Volunteer Registration System as approved volunteers. New-to-the-district employees will be uploaded once a month.
