I am Deepoo Meena, currently Serving as a Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)/KVK Scientist in Food Process Engineering at ICAR- Cental Island agricultural Research Institute (CIARI)-KVK, Nicobar, Andman & Nicobar Island, India. My academic foundation was laid with a B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV) in Jabalpur. Keen on deepening my expertise I advanced my studies with a M. Tech in Food Process Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Presently, I am furthering my academic and research pursuits through a PhD in Process Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. My research is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as NIR, FTIR, and Hyperspectral Imaging, integrated with Artificial Intelligence tools including Machine Learning and Deep Learning, to drive innovations and enhance methodologies in food processing.
