I am a PhD student in the department of mathematics at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. My supervisor is Taylor Brysiewicz. I am interested in problems related to computing solutions of polynomial systems, using tools in Numerical algebraic geometry such as Homotopy Continuation. I am especially fascinated by the concept of monodromy, and the algorithm of monodromy-solving.
Previously, I had completed a MSc in Mathematics, and a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, from Chennai Mathematical Institute, India (CMI). My master's thesis, done under the guidance of Priyavrat Deshpande, was on learning more about the homotopy invariant known as topological complexity, that comes up in topological robotics.
Research interests: Numerical algebraic geometry, Enumerative geometry, Homotopy Continuation, Monodromy-solving.
