DEEN HAVEN stores certain app settings and user-generated information locally on your device, including:
Qur'an bookmarks
Reading history
Selected reciter
Prayer calculation method
Selected madhab
Saved prayer location, including GPS-based or manually selected city information
Tasbih counter data and statistics
Theme and display preferences
Language and translation preferences
Metadata for installed translation packages
Downloaded Qur'an audio
Downloaded translation text
Information recording whether the location-permission disclosure has been acknowledged
This information is primarily stored locally to provide the app's functionality.
DEEN HAVEN does not require a user account and does not operate a developer-owned backend for storing the personal app data listed above.
The locally stored information described in Section 3 is not transmitted to DEEN HAVEN for storage.
However, certain features use third-party services as described below.
Location access is optional.
DEEN HAVEN may use your device location to provide features such as:
Prayer Times
Qibla functionality
Location-based city information
Before requesting location permission, the app provides an explanation of why location access is needed.
If you do not grant location permission, you can manually select a city where supported.
When GPS coordinates are used to resolve a human-readable location or place name, coordinates may be sent to third-party geocoding services, including:
BigDataCloud
OpenStreetMap Nominatim
Only the location information required for the lookup is sent for this purpose. DEEN HAVEN does not send your name, account information, or locally stored app data as part of these location lookups.
The handling and retention of information by these third-party services are governed by their respective policies.
Some Qur'an content may be obtained from third-party services.
Translation requests may use services such as Al Quran Cloud / Islamic Network, using information such as the requested Surah and language.
Qur'an audio streaming or downloads may use the Islamic Network CDN, using information such as the selected reciter, Surah, or Ayah.
These services may receive the technical information necessary to fulfil the requested content.
DEEN HAVEN uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements in applicable parts of the app.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share certain information for purposes including advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention/security. Depending on the SDK and device configuration, this may include:
IP address
App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and other interactions
Diagnostic information
Device or other identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers where applicable
Advertising-related identifiers may be controlled through Android or Google privacy settings where supported.
DEEN HAVEN does not intentionally send your name, email address, user account ID, or the app's GPS location to AdMob for advertising.
Information collected or processed by Google Mobile Ads is handled according to Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
DEEN HAVEN may load fonts from Google Fonts when an internet connection is available.
Standard technical information required for the font request may be processed by Google.
DEEN HAVEN:

Does not maintain a developer-owned backend for storing the local user data described in this policy
Does not use a separate developer-controlled analytics service such as Firebase Analytics
Does not operate its own crash-reporting service
Does not itself implement cross-app or cross-site tracking
Does not process payments in the current version
Does not sell personal information
The app does use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), which may process information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention as described in Section 7.
Information stored locally by DEEN HAVEN remains on your device until you remove it or clear the app's storage.
You may remove locally stored information by using applicable device controls, clearing the app's storage, removing downloaded content, or uninstalling the app.
Because DEEN HAVEN does not currently require a user account, there is no developer-held user account containing the local information described in this policy.
Information processed by third-party services is subject to those services' respective privacy policies and retention practices.
DEEN HAVEN uses HTTPS for applicable network communications.
The app stores applicable local information within the device's application storage.
While reasonable measures are used to protect information, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
DEEN HAVEN is intended for a general audience.
The app does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally request identifying personal information from children outside the normal functionality of the application.
