The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Intruder Selfie Anti Theft unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to camera, location, and device administration features.
To provide the core security and anti-theft features, this application requires the following high-risk and sensitive permissions:
Camera Permission (Front & Rear): Required to capture the selfie of the intruder/thief when they attempt to unlock your device incorrectly (Front Camera) and to control the flashlight for security alerts (Rear Camera).
Location Permission (Including Background Location): Required to locate your lost or stolen device and send the coordinates via email. Background location is accessed only to ensure the device can be tracked even when the app is not actively open.
Device Administrator Permission (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN): Used exclusively to detect failed screen unlock attempts (wrong PIN/Pattern/Password) in order to trigger the intruder selfie capture and security alarm.
System Alert Window (Screen Overlay): Required to display security alarms and block unauthorized access when the device is triggered.
Microphone Permission: Used strictly for decibel-based motion/sound detection features if enabled by the user.
Data Storage: Any images captured (Intruder Selfies) or locations tracked are processed locally on your device or sent directly to your designated email address. We do NOT collect, store, or harvest this personal data on our servers.
