I love puzzles . . . but the time it takes to solve monochromatic sections like the sky has always bothered me. I set out to create an algorithm that analyzes the overall puzzle image and the shapes of the pieces to determine how to assemble the puzzle.
After a lot of experimentation, I was able to use various custom algorithms to solve a 200-piece blank puzzle with a few minutes of computation!
As a rising sophomore, I participated in Tuft University's Engineering Design Lab. I created an “AI vs. Humans Soccer Game” :
Used image processing/computer vision (IP/CV), artificial intelligence, robots, and server-based wireless communication between computers
Used a camera to track arUco markers on robots and the location of the soccer ball
Coded Python-adaptive feedback loops and used advanced decision-making
