Meridian Junior Honor Society, or MJHS is an academic/citizenship organization here at the middle school. Students are selected for MJHS based on their cumulative middle school G.P.A. (3.5 or higher) and recommendations by the faculty.
Students who meet the criteria are inducted into the MJHS in the spring. Those students will carry on the service and citizenship tradition for the following year.
MJHS members organize the fall food drive to help the Blue Mound Food Pantry and various other projects and drives throughout the year- activities that all benefit the school culture and climate here at MMS.
