Yatin Azad

Yatin completed his B.Tech in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from IIT Kanpur. He worked for a year as a SURGE fellow under Dr. Nitin Gupta, where he assisted in setting up Treadwill, an online platform for helping people with depression and other mood disorders. He was also a part of Neuromatch Academy twice, delving into Computational Neuroscience and its countless applications. Currently, he's working on modeling decision-making in an uncertain environment. As a long-term ambition, he wishes to design a diagnostic tool for the early detection of neurodegenerative disorders and, subsequently, a therapeutic intervention that can impede their progression. Yatin loves binge-watching Masterchef seasons only to end up relying on YouTube to prepare a serving of beans and rice. He also plays badminton and console games whenever he's looking to wind down.
