Rakshita completed her B.A. in Psychology from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She also studied Sociology & Anthropology during her college days which helped her to dissect jargon from research papers. During her Bachelor's, she spent a summer term at the University of California at Berkeley, where she studied consumer behavior and project management, after which she got further inspired to study the brain behind all these behaviors. She is currently pursuing her MS by Research in Cognitive Science at IIT Kanpur. Her research examines how we learn to make decisions in changing environments, how flexible we are in adapting to these changes, and how sleep plays a role in learning. In her free time, Rakshita likes to paint, binge a sci-fi series, or fangirl over anything and everything related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She also co-hosts a podcast called Cog-Hz, sharing pieces of 'knowledge nuggets' & interviews from the field.
