Peeusa got her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering; she was interested in signal processing, noise filtration, and developing simple devices like ECG to identify reliable biomarkers! But then, just after entering the labyrinth of research, she explored the complex world of the human mind and decided to dive into cognitive neuroscience, specifically decision neuroscience. Her research interest lies in understanding the relationship between stress, anxiety, and decision suboptimality at behavioural and neural levels. Peeusa is a third-year Ph.D. fellow at Decision Lab IITK, prior to which she was a research assistant at the Image Processing lab at IIT Kanpur. In her free time, she likes birdwatching and wildlife photography, musing on Indian classical music, and reading poetry!
