Harsh Arora

Harsh joined the lab as a Ph.D. student in January 2021. He has an engineering background and an inclination to work in applied sciences, especially in the field of medicine. His interest lies in understanding and solving mental disorders. With his Ph.D. project, he is working on Schizophrenia to understand "How different are patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, and how can we determine these inter-individual differences to better guide patients for personalized treatments." He is investigating this heterogeneity among patients at different levels - symptoms, behaviour, and neural activity. Harsh loves badminton and cycling. He enjoys planning trips and exploring new places and gets depressed if he is not able to do so for a few months.
