Is my data private?
Yes. DEBRIEF stores all candidate data only on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no third-party analytics or tracking.
Does DEBRIEF use AI, and is it safe?
AI features are optional and run only when you tap them. Before any text is sent for processing, the candidate name is replaced with an anonymous handle, so the real identity never leaves your device. You can turn redaction on or off per action; it is on by default.
What is included in DEBRIEF Pro?
DEBRIEF is free to use with core scoring and a monthly allowance of AI drafts. DEBRIEF Pro unlocks unlimited AI, panel mode, calibration, comparison, PDF export, and reminders. It is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account. On your device, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select DEBRIEF. You can also tap "manage subscription" inside the app under Settings.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open DEBRIEF, go to Settings, and tap "restore purchases".
How do I back up or move my data?
In Settings, use "back up vault" to export your data (plain or password-encrypted), then restore it on another device using "restore from backup".
How do I delete all my data?
In Settings, use "reset all data". Deleting the app also removes all of its on-device data.
