About me

Hello! I'm Debarghya.

I am a third-year Doctoral student in Statistics at Department of Statistics, Iowa State University. I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Kyle Schindl and Dr. Jae Kwang Kim. Previously, I completed my master's in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur  and was advised by Dr. Arnab Hazra and Dr. Debasis Kundu.

My current research focuses on exploring causal effects based on stochastic interventions for counterfactual estimation, which is useful in several biomedical applications. I am also interested in exploring Bayesian sparse regression and variable selection.

Research Interests: Causal Inference, Information Geometry, Bayesian Inference.
