Welcome!
I am a second-year Doctoral student in Statistics at Department of Statistics, Iowa State University. Currently, I am working with Dr. Kyle Schindl and Dr. Jae Kwang Kim in the field of Causal Inference and Information Geometry.
Before that, I graduated with Master of Science (M.Sc) in Statistics from Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and precedingly obtained Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Statistics Honours from Department of Statistics, Midnapore College (Autonomous), affiliated by Vidyasagar University.
2024 - 2029 (Expected): PhD in Statistics, Department of Statistics, Iowa State University, Ames, IA, United States.
2022 - 2024: M.Sc. in Statistics, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
Dissertation:
M.Sc. Research Project I: Some mixture models for joint analysis of wind speed and wind direction for North Indian Ocean Cyclones.
M.Sc. Research Project II: Applications of a Stationary Weibull Process method with an R-package.
